4. Cynthia Ann² Popenoe (James¹) was born Xenia, Greene Co, OH 7 April 1815. Cynthia died 30 May 1848 at 33 years of age.

She married Amiel Rodgers 17 Mar 1840. Amiel was born 18 July 1814. Amiel was a bricklayer, contractor and small-scale builder.

Cynthia Ann Popenoe and Amiel Rodgers had the following children:

16 i. Jane³ Rodgers was born 8 March 1841. Jane died 17 Aug 1912 at 71 years of age.

17 ii. Margaret Rodgers was born 31 Mar 1843. Margaret died 2 May 1853 at 10 years of age.

+ 18 iii. Hazard Rodgers was born 1844.

+ 19 iv. Elizabeth Rodgers was born 24 Apr 1846.

20 v. Melanthin Rodgers was born 1848. Melanthin died 1850 at 2 years of age.
