12. Harriet² Popenoe (James¹) was born Centerville, Montgomery Co, OH 2 December 1835. Harriet died 7 November 1913 Centerville, Montgomery Co, OH, at 77 years of age.

She married Daniel Himes 14 February 1857. Daniel was born 20 Dec 1821. Daniel was the son of Samuel Himes and Elizabeth Sweadner. Daniel died 27 September 1886 at 64 years of age. Harriet was born and lived all her life on a big farm near Centerville. She died in the home of her daughter, Irene Allen.

Harriet Popenoe and Daniel Himes had the following children:

43 i. Irene P.³ Himes was born 21 Nov 1857. Irene died May 1929 at 71 years of age. She married Jerry Allen 27 Jan 1887. Jerry died Oct 1927. No children.

+ 44 ii. Jerry Eugene Himes was born 25 Feb 1860.

45 iii. Lottie Belle Himes was born 13 Apr 1864. Lottie died 15 Aug 1864 at less than one year of age.

+ 46 iv. Edwin James Himes was born 19 Aug 1866.

47 v. Grace Miranda Himes was born 12 Jun 1874. Grace died 15 Sep 1874 at less than one year of age.
