21. Thomas Clark3 Popenoe (James2, James1) was born 21 June 1845. Thomas died 12 Mar 1915 at 69 years of age.
He married Lucy Ursula Paul 21 Jun 1870. Lucy was born 28 Mar 1851 in Dayton, Montgomery Co. OH. Lucy died 31 Dec 1928 in Aurora, IL, at 77 years of age. Thomas had a bookstore in Hannibal, MO.

Florence4 Popenoe was born in Hannibal, MO 5 May
1871. Lucy died 22 Feb 1943 in Aurora, IL, at 71 years of age. Florence never married. She
worked in the supply department of the Burlington Railway in Hannibal for 12 years before
moving to Chicago in 1910 where she was matron of the Eleanor club for girls at the
University of Chicago and later dietitian at an old people's home.
+ 67 ii. Mary Eva Popenoe was born 27 Oct 1873.
68 iii. Elizabeth
Paul Popenoe was born 21 July 1876. Elizabeth died 20 Apr 1882 in Hannibal, MO, at 5 years
of age.
69 iv. Nora
Mabel Popenoe was born in Aurora, IL 27 Mar 1879.
